GIT collaborates with Sri Lanka to develop integrated gem and jewelry industry

On May 31, 2016, Dr. Pornsawat Wathanakul, Director of the GIT, together with Mr. Boontawee Sriprasert, Deputy Director of the GIT, welcomed H.E. Kshenuka Senewiratne, Sri Lankan ambassador to Thailand, to some of the GIT’s services at the Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand, ITF Tower, Silom Road. The highlighted topic of discussion that Sri Lanka had interest in was the GIT International Conference 2016, and the GIT Design Award 2016, which aim to promote and advance integrated knowledge on gem and jewelry at an international level. The Sri Lankan Embassy prepares to publicize the two projects among interested Sri Lankan designers and entrepreneurs.
